IS IT HARMFUL TO SQUEEZE MY PIMPLES?

YES! You should never pick or squeeze any sort of acne lesion (blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules or cyst). When you pick or squeeze your acne lesion you force infected material deeper into the skin, causing additional inflammation and also possible scarring.

    TIPS:
    (1) STOP USING Your DIRTY FINGERS!
This only spreads bacteria and the friction from your nails may potentially puncture the skin leaving a scab in place of the pimple.

    (2) FOR PROPER EXTRACTION PROCESS
use Q-Tips. Use the soft heads of the Q-Tips to apply pressure to the blemish area pushing down and up so the fluid in the pimple is extracted properly. This will make it more difficult and may cause inflammation. (YOU MAY ALSO USE Kleenex or Gauze to wrap around your fingers before you attempt the extraction)

"Once the bacteria is successfully extracted onto the Q-Tips, it makes for easy disposal." (No mess, no bacteria on your hands)
